We recently lost the hard drive to the voice mail system. We have a new drive and have the software on our CD's. Does anyone know the steps to go through to re-image the drive?

We have a new hard drive and our software Cd's from Inter-tel (v9). However, it appears we need OS2 but I am not seeing it on the CD.

Then you don't have all the disks..
Wasn't OS/2 dropped as an option for the VPU on Axxess v9? I thought only WinNT/Win2000 was an option for v9 VPU.
Since you bring up OS/2, I'm going to assume you have a VPU VM Unit (there can be multiple different kinds) and that you have an Axxess system, which is what tito1411 was asking you to give what hardware you actually have. Kind of hard to help without knowing.
Basicly, the steps are to install the OS (ie. either OS/2 or WinNT) off your OS disk, depending on what you are installing, partitioning it the way that Inter-Tel suggests. Then to install the Axxessory Talk application/drivers off the Inter-Tel disks as well as the system prompts off the seperate set of disks. The OS was always shipped on a seperate disk, not on the Inter-Tel disk for the VPU.
If you don't have OS2 OS disk and you are doing the OS2 app version, you'll need to find one. BUT.. I just looked it up, OS2 version of Axxessory Talk was dropped with v8.0, so if thats what disks you have, you have old disks from a prior to the v9 upgrade.
You'll either have to beg somebody to get you the software you need, as well as digging up a WinNT/Win2000 OS to install on the box, or get a tech certified with Mitel out there to get it restored..
They didn't do an image restore disk for the VPU that I have seen.

Are you sure it wasnt Windows 2000 running on the VPU or was it an EM? Your best bet at this point is to get a Mitel tech out there to help you out. This is gong to be beyond the scope of what we can quickly assist you with over this forum and I would assume your VM is a critical app that needs to be up and running as soon as possible.
