Hey guys,

I have been working on a new marketing website for the Motorcoach Resort where I live during the summer and fall. It isn't public yet and you would be the first ones outside of the resort or motorhoming community to see it...I need some opinions

click on the link, then visitor access and enter the code provided on the page. I look forward to hearing from you!

I live about 2 miles from the Parkway outside of Roanoke, Va.Dont think the leaves have peaked up here yet with the 80 degree days and this week is supposed to be more of the same.Took a trip last week up to Babcock State Park in West Va last week and the scenery was great.

Nice job. You should be doing this as a full time job, it's that good.

I know some will want a lot of gingerbread on the site, but a nice, clean simple site is much more appealing. The more choices you give 'em, that harder it is to maintain.

Thanks guys, Ed, we have an RV resort right next door, trailers, fivers, and park homes, nice place. My daughter and brother stay there. If I remember correctly, you have an RV so come see me sometime..and that goes for anyone here!

I take great delight in finding fault with websites, and the printed page. I must therefore admit that I am disappointed not to have found a single error in any of the text.

You've done a great job. The photos and layout are top-notch, and the blog is a very moving tribute to your friend.

New link to the site, in case you found out the old one doesn't work.

Nice looking but you need content on the home page, along with your internal menu and better alt text for the images, your page titles need to be fixed as well. about isn't something someone will search for. Right now your site has a good look but it wont rank at all. It falls in the category of nice looking but no one will see it.

I followed the advice of Squarespace, the hosting service I am using...

You didn't follow it correctly. There is nothing wrong with an about page but you don't want just a picture on your homepage that links to your about page (that should be menu driven, which you have, but not on your home page), you also don't want to name your other pages "about" (which you did). Hope that makes sense.

Derrick in regards to Squarespace...

Thomas Heaton is a landscape photographer out of the UK and uses Squarespace. He has a Youtube channel that he posts this adventures in Landscape Photography.
I saw the video of the picture that is on his Home Page and it was great watching and learning. He is currently finishing up a photography group tour in the Patagonia
Region in South America.

Thanks for the headsup, I will take a look at His site. I am building a pro photographer site this week for my daughter on Squarespace as well.

Well the SEO of the dcmrblueridge.com website must be working, Google analytics sent me an email saying 10,000 key word searches last 30 days found the link to the website, now getting them to click that link is another matter.
