Hello everyone i have integrated a Shoretel system with a Tadiran ipx 500 version 15.68.09 via the Qsig protocol. The Shoretel being the voicemail server. Everything is working fine with 1 exception. The message lamp will light on the Tadiran phones but will not extinguish. A shoretel engineer has looked at his end and says then are sending the message off code back to the Tadiran and reply from Tadiran says message accepted. Tadiran support wont talk to me due to the system not being version 16. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Jim Williams

Quite a few things to check. First I would verify the Tadiran is programmed properly for QSIG. Second, you might need to set the MWI for ATT MWI depending how the voicemail is sending the indicator. IE for regular MWI the port that sets it MUST extinguish it vs ATT MWI which can be ANY port. Tadiran pretty much wrote the book on QSIG FYI. Hope this helps.
