Power lost, database on the EVMC is corrupt, reboots. I defaulted the system but the EVMC doesn't stay online long enough for it to default as well. I reloaded the 5.270 software on the EVMC but it says the same thing. Do I just need to delete the AVDAP folder? What folder is the database on the EVMC? I did this one other time about 6 years ago but, I don't remember.

The database is in the c:\avdap\db folder. 5.270 is a very old and very buggy version. I would re-flash the CPU with 5.2F9 software and load the same on the EVMC.
This is a software only upgrade. 5.270 was so buggy, they didn't even require you to switch the PAL chip.
The EVMC version you'll need to load may not be 5.2F9. The minor version, 9 in this case, may be something else. Usually 2 or B. Both are compatible.

Sweet. I just need it to limp along for a few days until I replace it with a HX. But, I'm sure it will happen somewhere, again. I'll keep note of what you said. Thanks.
