what are you trying to do? external paging speakers with an amp or self amplified speakers? Or something else?

connect Valcom to system so that customer can use press button and call patient (installed in doctors surgery). Speakers have built in amps

I have used a ang trunk port
or another way is to put a digital extn on wall so they can page thro them

You have to use a line port, the page port will not pass touch tones.
