Hello -
I have installed my 1st OS7100, and I am really enjoying the brand/system, especially programming it through the Device Manager. I have software version 4.60. I am, however, having trouble accessing the OS remotely. My client has AT&T DSL with a Netopia Modem/router, and I have opened the correct ports for it, though I had to change the web port, as the Officeserv includes the web port as well as it's inbound port. My problem is that I can connect to the OS, and Java starts, but the DM app takes a couple of minutes to finally open, and by that time, a pop-up says to "Check the Link", as though not connected.
Thanks again,
al

Hi. Yes, I use it onsite but can it be used remotely?

It's the better way of accessing the system remotely

Good Deal! Would rather use it as well. I just tried using the DM but only getting "Check the link between DM and System". Seems the DM doesn't even reach the OS, where through ei, can get the Java to start. Ultimately get the same message though.

Sounds like the ports aren't forwarded correctly. Check the ports on the connection screen

I'm dealing with a Netopia Modem/Router of which I have the "Pin Holes", Ports 21 & 80 (TCP) pointing to the officeserv at 192.168.1.150. Are you talking about settings in the OS7100? cause I could not find settings in the Device Manager for it.

TCP 5090, 5003 and 6001 are also required. These are listed on the site list screen up the top

Thanks Mate! I will forward these ports and should be good. Wish this was in my pdf. It only mentions port 80, 21, and 443. Ill post it tomorrow as it is 7:30 PM here.
Thanks again,

S-U-C-C-E-S-S-!-!-!
The additional ports; Data Port, File Port, FTP Port (which I forwarded earlier), and the VM Port, made the difference!! I am connected to the OS7100 and now managing remotely!
Thanks again! This is my 1st Samsung. Can you tell me how you like the system?
