I want to install a Trisys replay TX call accounting system on a Executone running Eclipse 2.5.1 level software. My question is, is the executone equiped with more then one serial port to output call data (SMDR) and if so can multiple ports run at the same time. Question #2 Can I use Client matter codes on the Executone. Thanks

It comes equipped with 2 serial ports. There are several places in the executone pgm you have to turn on smdr. 1 is on all stations, another is on the port itself, and I think also on all co's. I don't know what client matter codes are.

Thanks Gerald for the reply so with having 2 serial ports can both be sending SMDR data at the same time?

As far as I know you can only get call accounting info on one of the ports at a time. You can try it by turning on smdr on each of the ports. Another option that I have use in the past is to split the output of one of the ports. Only connect the transmit, dtr, and the ground pins on the second device.
If your not having fun, go find something else to do.
