Folks,

I'm not experienced at all in paging and have been givin the responsiblity to add a couple of zones to a paging system.

We currently have a bogen amp and modules PCM-TIM and PCM-CPU. We currently have a trunk setup from our phone system to page the warehouse. But need to add nine speakers for the front office and use the same trunk to page the office and also page all (warehouse/office).
I assume I need a zone paging module, but how it all fits together is confusing.
I need a good web site that show how all the pieces fit.

PCM-TIM & PCM-CPU - ARE - Zone paging Modules. What size Amp do you have? Is this a 25/70 volt constant voltage system or are you using amplified speakers? How many speakers do you have now?

Have you tried the Bogen Web site? (www.bogen.com)

Its a 70 volt constant, from looking at Bogens site it shows that the TIM is the telephony and the CPU is the control and there is a multi zone mode that connects to the TIM and CPU via a ribbon cable.
In stead of running the audio thru the amp first and then to the modules and then thru the speakers or do I have to run thru the modules first and then thru the amp then to the speakers?

I have to laugh at how people think they can find anything on the web. How about looking at the installation materials on this from Bogen? It actually is available on their site.

Hal even better yet call bogen Tech Support tell them what you've got, what you want and they will walk you thru or even send you a fax diagrammed; we've done that a couple of times.

I’ve had the same experience in the past as Jim B. I faxed a diagram of what I had and what I needed; they sent me a diagram and a parts list with the “Best” way to accomplish it.
