I need a source for multi-mode fiber cable that comes with the connectors already installed and ready to pull? Anyone have suggestions?

I have tried this, due to a customer request, it's not a good way to do it. It doesn't take alot to kill an end and pulling with it on is a royal PAIN. It's well worth terminating OR doing it yourself as it has gotten alot easier to terminate fiber.

I have gotten them from Eltas direct before with great results.
They come with a pulling eye on them and have never had any bad connectors.
Just google eltasdirect.com
The guy I always talk to is Joe.

Priority Electronics. I bought two or three runs. Worked out not too bad. But have to pull all from one end unless you order with pulling eyes on both ends.

I only use preterminated anymore. I can't trust the techs to get even the easiest connectors to work. I get mine from CSC (Communications Supply Corp.) www.gocsc.com or 301-353-1150 and will never turn back. The nice nylon "sock" they put on protects the connectors and makes it a piece of cake to pull.

I just got a catalog from FIS (Fiber Instrument Sales). They should have them too.

ME!! What are you looking for? I can get you exact length assemblies in a couple of days. 50 or 62.5 micron? SC/LC/ST? Simplex, Duplex?
I'm not sure why anyone would say that this is a bad way to go. I sell literally hundreds of MM duplex assemblies to Lucent every year.

Gees, you bunch of sissies! :p Terminate the fiber yourselves! (Just kidding with the name calling.)
We buy a good bit of stuff from Eltas (that MDaniel mentioned) and they're a great company to do business with. I'm sure Ken could help you out as well.
But seriously, why don't you guys buy the fiber kit and do it yourselves? Makes for a much nicer installation and you don't have to worry about your measurement being off. We use the Corning/Siecor kit and it really couldn't be any easier. It even comes with a video.

I'd be happy to send the Corning Termination video files to the admin here if they want to make it available to the members.

Possibly I have pulled more fiber, possibly loger tighter runs with more strands (thus more ends). I will never do pre-term ever again unless it's a REALLY short run that has a ton of room to pull. Terminating fiber is easier now than ever and I have a guy that does it well and fairly inexpensively if I so choose to have him terminate it. Makes for a nicer, cleaner and easier pull and termination IMHO.
