Like others have said, it could be ABAM cable used for T1 digital circuits. T1 uses 2pr and that is why the cable comes in "oddball pair counts." Standard T1 cable is 2pr/22 with individually shielded pairs to maintain electrical separation between the transmit and receive pairs. OK Guys, this topic is officially dead. The Supperior Essex link has been posted three times, and grider confirmed in post 17 that it was in fact ABAM cable. We solved this problem to death, now we need a fresh new cabling topic.
