Its a long process, you've gotta goto 4.14(k) first then use osm to convert the db, then you can use it tool to backup the db, and upload the 4.46 files and then the db

Do you have 4.14 (k) version?
4.14 (k) work with OSM and with Installation Tool?

If you can help me with this now it would be great! I have less than 1 hour to update the system :s

Thanks!

If it is a larger installation, or SPnet enabled, do yourself a favor and upgrade it to a MP20. The MCP processors are a dog.

In this client I don't want to change the MCP with a MP20, I only need upgrade to 4.46d to use SMT-i3100 phones.

You will need to update the boot rom from v1.05 to v1.07.

We've never been told about that.

I did an upgrade on a SM style MCP from 2.63 to 4.14 i think or it may have been 4.11 to fix the "cross talk after internal page" issue, and didn't have to change the boot rom at all.

Being 2.66 there is a change that its a MMC card style MCP so they could be different.

Though I thought the boot room issue was only with the R2 500 MCP2 cards with higher then 2.66 software

Take a download with OSM.
Upload the 4.46d files to the SM/MMC card (including startup.pre file), restart system
flash lcp card if its a 2 cabinet.

Manually reprogram once system comes up (you can copy and paste from OSM mmc fields, to IT tool [eg names, speed dials, etc])

This will be easier then doing all the version upgrades/conversions required, and also less chance of corruption in the db at the end of it
