I'm trying to configure a PBX Samsung OfficeServ 7400 connected with an IBM server with an Asterisk on it via SIP Trunk.
I've been doing various tests, and i can make outbound calls from Asterisk via the PBX trunk ports of the Samsung PBX.
I have a problem when I try to derive an incoming call from the PBX Samsung to an extension of the Asterisk.
The communication is started by the Samsung and the Asterisk PBX accepts it OK, but when asterisk sends the acknowledgment, the Samsung gives an authentication error.

Connection via SIP Trunk.
Licence OK.

I think that is a registration issue.
What should I do?

Anyone ???.
I have more or less the same issue !.
To be honest I think this is a Asterisk context issue or something along those lines.
Shall maybe try running a Wireshrk trace to see exactly what the Samsung Officeserv is sending, ie digits and sip signalling and so forth.

Update: I have read that must be installed a proxy between the OfficeServ and the Asterisk.

This is true?

Please help! I need this ASAP.

Thanks

Assuming you sip is registered, you dial the sip trunk group (805 by default, or 803 on OS7030) then the extension number followed by #.

E.G. 805 301 #

Just use the NLCR and LCR for dialling from handsets

The problem is the registration.
I need to use a proxy between the Asterisk and the OfficeServ?

Or how can I do to register the SIP Trunk?

You need to find out from the logs on the asterisk box why its not allowing the system to register.
