I could not find the thread for this so I am making one. I have a Comdial FXII MP5?? tied to a PC with Verbatim v8.2 DOS based voice mail. At 5:30 PM it should flip to nite mode. The flip is no longer flipping. Since I am real green with this system I was glad to find this site. So how do I re-activate nite mode for after 5:30? Thanks.

The voicemail will tell you what mode it's in and you can "command" it to night mode. When you get it to night mode then call the voicemail. Do you hear the night routing box info?

I can try that at 5:30. Here is a new trist. From what I was just told the phone system should go 5 - 6 rings and then to a group of 4 extentions for 2 rings then to this box that has dept. dialing listing. This is not working and may be what I am looking for?

Thanks Jwootin,
The VM is in night mode however it just rings away. I am told it is supposed to ring 5 times the at 4 different extentions ring 2 times then to a voise box. Not happening. ?? I see 801 and 802 but don't know what to look for.

Does the front set have a night or auto attendant button? In the MP5000 VMMI you're going to have to look to see how the ringing is assigned.
