Go with what you know. There all about the same. Each has it's own good and bad points. However I like the definity system with the Intuity Audix Voice Mail System.
We sell Sprint Flexicom so I would say a Sprint IPX500 with a built in Coral Message Center (Repartee in sheeps clothing and digital interface). Just depends what you are doing.
You can really get into a broad range of products here. Just depends on what you are looking for. Nortel MICS and Avaya Magix will do about 200 ports each and are top line. NEAX 2000 is a great switch for this number of ports, as is the ADIX. So it really depends on what you are looking for.
What do you mean by leader? Most Telecom Equipment Manufacturers supply a 200-300 port switch. If you are talking about marketshare Avaya and Nortel currently have the majority of marketshare however their share continues to drop yearly.
"If you are talking about marketshare Avaya and Nortel currently have the majority of marketshare" Actually, NEC was the leader in 2003. Avaya was second, Nortel third and toshiba was forth.
I stand corrected. You are right regarding total marketshare but again without knowing exactly what is being asked all statistics can be manipulated. NEC posts all sales (NEC brand and Nitsuko brand) but really don't seperate which brand is selling more. Marketshare is generally broken down into lines sold or systems sold and that information can also be manipulated by how the product is sold. (Distribution or Direct to Dealers) Unfortunately there is no real way of verifying what is reported.
As posted on this site many times before I would be less concern about marketshare and more concern about the support being offered.
