Had the wierdest things happen on this 8.2 voice mail.
1: When transfering to an extension it plays the main greeting - Sometimes - someties it works. Of course....sometime it rings the receptionis back saying it is coming frmo vmail.
2: When calling in the receptionist only has one ring to answer call. then Vmail answers and plays the wrong dang box (803 vs. 800) I can set the answer rings in vmail to 2 and it will ring the designated 6 and then the vmail will ring twice.
3: When XVM1 is used it plays the main greeting rather than the users greeting.
Anyone seen any of this? We already ordered a new vmail unit but this is just too wierd (or at least wierd for me) to not post.

Oh yeah...and one extension can not even log into his mailbox. password is right, reset mbox and even deleted/recreated. Still nothing.

Sounds like some issues in the trans.txt, or database corruption.

yeah.....i checked trans but all was same as others. Did not repair DB as this is an ancient install and has had other issues in the past. Interchange will be much better for them anyway
