We just ordered and sold our first SL1100 system. Thought I'd throw out a line and see if anyone else has installed one yet and would share any pointers. Any advise appreciated!!

Installed 2 so far with a 3rd in the pipeline. Installed both as TDM with no frills so I can't give a lot of feedback. First returns are it seems like a solid system.

We have done 3 systems as TDM as well. No problems to speak of, I think the speaker phone could be better. The CO lines pop and crackle when you dial but no big deal. Did not put voice mail in any of them so don't know what that is like yet. Ton's of flexibility in programming which is nice. User friendly or so it seems to me.

Thanks guys for the feed back.
TELEPHONEGUNNER: Did you by any chance trying using program 90-68-01 ? They recommend on all new installs on analog lines.
It is documented on the SL1100/DSX site.
Just a thought. Also agree with the speakerphones issue.

Have 2 installed with POTS lines and vmail.
No complaints. Wish the phones were sturdier.
Pretty easy if you're used to the 8100.

New release got rid of the popping noise when dialing out. Ran the 90-68-01 on new installs, really makes a difference for the speakerphones. Voice mail is alot like the DSX. Good luck with it so far. We like it

TG, Thanks for reporting back your success with 1100.
Glad the 90-68-01 work out and improved your issue.
We are just about ready to unleash the 1100 in are local market, as we are getting more comfortable with the programming.

I should be getting my "official" sample this week. I have been testing a Euro SL1100 over the past few weeks. Some of the PRGs are different to the US release. Looks like the US release is quite crippled in some areas compared to the Euro version. I'll wait and see if our downunder version is crippled or not..
Regards,
Paul W Now back to a 0 day week. Love these 7 day weekends.
