We have a user who is experinceing intermitant issues dialing through the Auto Attendant and receives "invalid option" response. I spoke with T.S. who just wants to say it the users cell phone and be done. I wish I could just tell my customer that, however he is going to tell me his last system did not do this? So I put this out to the masses. Does anyone know if there are any DTMF settings that can be adjusted to make the system a little more forgiving?
Thanks

Analog trunks?? If so add another 5 db to each trunk in 14.01.02 and 03.
I've never had any issues with ISDN trunks and InMail. I have found that some cell fones have a very short DTMF send pulse and some CDMA mobiles have a low level DTMF sender.. No problems with GSM and WCDMA mobiles..

Interesting i will give this a try as well, it seem to occur around ver 4 and the new inmail prompt release, i also thought it may have just been the GSM gateway on this trunk

I don't have a solution, but I am experiencing the same problem on a UX5000 w/Intramail. I've tried adjusting 14-01-02/03 to just about every level available, with little to no change. Also tried different filter types in 81-07. I'm wondering about adjusting the DTMF signal lengths and audio levels in 80-02 and 03, but I don't really know which way to go with them. BTW, I have 2 analog trunks (copper all the way back to the CO - no DCCs is what they tell me) and a partial PRI off an IAD and get the problem on both, although for now I'm focusing on the analog trunks to get them right and then I'll have something to go on for the PRI channels.
