I`m needing some info on adding a 3rd pim to a 2000IVS. Is this a plug and play type setup or is there a license that i need to add a 3rd pim?
Also what is the function of a PN-CP01(FPC) card? Do i have to have this in the 3rd cabinat because ive noticed it in another setup in a fourth cabinet?

FPC is a firmware processor. You need 1 per 2 pims. You need a license for pim 3.

You will also need a total TDM user license.
On IVS, you can't check licenses yourself. You'll need to call NTAC to see what licenses you have , and what you'll need.

If it is truly an IVS and not an IVS2 or IPS, there is no Port License. All you need is a BS01, FP and PIM 2. Version differences were for ISDN/T1/Hotel Motel. ie., 1910, 1920, 1930.
