Looking for more info on the WIN 440CT systems. I can’t tell if they manufacture the systems. When I called them they were evasive. Also I would like info on reliability and the user friendliness of these systems. Any input or direction where to get some more info would be greatly appreciated. I did a search on this forum and did not find very much good or bad about these systems.

I have been working in Win phone systems for many years. The Product is very stable. Like all new systems it may take some time to learn some of the access codes ect. Most phone systems are user friendly if the user would take the time to read the guides.

can a WIN model mk440ct take a PRI card, and is this a easy system to program, i ask because the only dealer left town and i am picking up some customers

yes.. win mk440ct can install PRI card..i have test the system using PRI connect to Alcatel,Nokia,ericson and etc..telecom exchange... OK..

Win 440 in manufactured by Win Communications, there world headquaters is in Atlanta. I went to a week of school there to become certified for their system and you have to pass a test to be certified to install a PRI card in the system also. They are programmed with hyper terminal, but even easier with their GUI software, which has an Aladdin key for security. Overall they are ok, they are not easy to get a hold of either and unless you are a "Certified" installer with a pin# (which is given you after you pass the classes) you may have trouble getting tech support from them. The only thing I don't like is they don't have any system planners that are installer friendly, they can do alot, but they come with absolutely no preprogramming on them. I have installed several of them, one with PRI, they're not too bad. Their website is

i have installed a few hundred win systems over the last 10 years, and have had nothing but success with them. there new smartvoice voicemail is awesome and the current ip offering is really cost effective for the customer. the pri solution is simple to install and have had no equipment related problems. any problems would be related to the installer not being certified. if you know how to program them you can stay competive in any market. they can grow to 7 networked sites via pri/t1/ip so technology is always advancing

I know and have installed many win systems over the years. Good system. Prog. is probably different than you're use to but not difficult.

Difficult? Heck no! I can program it backwards.
Itechaz is correct. WIN will only answer very basic questions to 'anyone' You must be certified (its an easy test) to get a book, a passcode, support etc.

If you use the HELP command, the system is fairly intuitive for the seasoned installer.
