STS, configured 16x24x2 w/ flash voicemail. Eng Ver V1.02 P01-AFE0. System installed 11/04.Sta 100 shows and rings all 16 lines. Sta 100 also has dss unit that shows all stations. All other sta have pool and loop buttons. All other sta are in pickup group 1. When they hear a call ringing they dial #0 to answer the ringing call. Recently 2 sta 111 & 112 have lost the ability to answer with #0, also calls transfered to those sta do not go through, and they can not retrieve parked calls. Displays on both sta look fine just show sta# date and time and vm messages if there are any. DSS does not show any thing on these sta, like flashing if in dnd. In both cases resetting the system cleared the problem. Any ideas??
Thanks,
Steve

Ouch, that's a good one. I have to ask a few questions in an effort to get a little food for thought.
1. Is the station lock feature turned on?
2. Did you actually look at the buttons on 111 and 112 or did you just look at the 100-XXX range?
3. I am assuming that these stations still reside on the first DTIB expansion card, correct?
4. Do you have any available DTIB ports that you can 636 or flash 52 these extensions to? If not, can you try doing this anyway with less-important stations like break or conference rooms just to see if the problem follows the port or extension number?
I hate to answer your question with more questions, but I figured that two heads are better than one at this point.

Also make sure X111 & 112 still have access to line group 1 (assuming all lines in a single line group) Mike

Thanks Ed & Mike
Can't say for sure about station lock, probably still the default.
Button programming checked thru speed 7 # 2
Both stations have access to line group 1, through F50
Port numbers not flexed, so both are on the second DTIB.
I have a conference room phone available and may have 1 or 2 other available digital ports open to try the 636 with.
Seems like both stations got turned into be able to be one way, outbound only, like something to do with a user enabled change in COS. Some kind of undocumented feature code?? I won't be able to get back to the site till next week. I'll keep in touch with the customer and post back after I am back at the site.
Thanks again, Steve

Steve, I doubt that it is an undoccumented feature code BUT we did find 644 the hard way ("STA IN OUT OF OFFICE" display).
I know that the station lock thing is a bit of a stretch, but you should try going to F50 or 51, page B, button 1 and re-identify the station port as a digital station. Program the buttons/features accordingly, then activate station lock.
I have seen some things that simply can't be explained on these systems, but activating station lock seems to tame them. I would suppose that at this point, anything is worth a try.

First time I discovered feature 644, I had a customer call me to ask why his phone was warning him to "Stay out of office"
