Hi all- we are using a strata dk phone system. we have 4 voice ports on this system that i used to be able to dial directly (401-404) to record system greetings, etc. Suddenly these extensions no longer answer to allow me to record replacement greetings. prior to this i would have dialed 401 then 1234 to access the system then dialed a pilot # such as 601 plus the greeting # 01, 02, 03 etc. Now when i dial the va number 401 it just rings, never picking up. Is there a setting i can look for that would have disabled this?
thanks

thanks for your suggestion.
voice mail is up and running fine and dandy. after fooling with it a bit more, here is a little more info... when i dial 401, 402, 403, 404 there is a click from the strata cabinet as though a connection is being made, it rings 1x then clicks and rings 1x, etc, etc.
if i dial #401 i get a fast busy.
in acd monitor the pulldown thats supposed to show the va port #s is empty.

Is it a external voicemail using analog ports(RSTU) ? If so check those ports

Put your butt set on the analog ports to check for ring voltage to your voicemail. The ring generator on your RSTU might be bad.

Are you confusing the voicemail ports with the VA ports? They are not the same thing. Also, it seems as if you have a CTX/CIX and not a DK if you're talking about VA ports and the ACD monitor program. Have you tried rebooting the MAS or ACD computer?

phonemeister is correct. it is a ctx/cix not at dk. i just inherited this system from another employee and the manuals i have are for a dk so i assumed that's what it was as there is no marking on the cabinets stating otherwise.
it's entirely possible that im confused as to what is a va port and what is a voicemail port. my limited understanding is that these 4 extensions are va ports.
i have rebooted both the cabinet and the acd computer to no avail.
i have connected a handset into the va port on the 66 block and the result is a busy signal, then a dialtone after the dialtone is established it acts as though the line is being picked up and hung up. eg. dialtone-click-silence-click-dialtone-click-silence-click-dialtone... etc.
