Hi Everyone i am fairly new to Toshiba i mainly work on avaya but i have a problem with caller id on cix40. When a call comes into the system all 11 digits are displayed on the handset but if the call goes to voicemail only 10 digits are displayed and spoken when you retreive the message missing off the last digit. All advice appreciated.

First thing that comes to mind is we only get 10 digit clid here in the U.S. It could very well be a limitation of the voicemail not able to see all digits. Toshiba tech support may be a help and you'll need a certified tech for that.

You might ask the carrier to send just 10 digits.

Thanks for the replys, Yes i have changed the smdi cli digits to 11 but it seemed to screw up normal access to voicemail so i changed it back. The problem is it is set up the same as all the others i have done but this is the only one with the problem.

Why do you need to see all 11 digit. It's area code plus phone number equal 10 digits.

The system needs to be set to 15 digits in the UK, but there is also some programming to do on the GVPH to make sure the MW light goes on. PM me if you need a tech bulletin to follow.
