Name the Notification to be something like CallStar_ON (for Light On) CallStar_Off (for Light Off). Token Notify - Type is Normal (Light On) Dial string should be something like this #8,7601%E-H Token Notify - Type is Pickup (Light Off) #8,7600%E-H
How it works, the MB receives a message, the MB looks at the Notify Schedule for the MB. The system will dial the Token #8 ,Pause 2 seconds 7601 Dial the CallStar Light On %E the extension in the MB extension field - Pause 1/2 Second H Hang Up
When the user picks up the message the MB will again look at the Notify schedule and dial the Light Off #8,7600%E-H #8 Access to CallStar 7600 CallStar Light Off %E the extension in the MB extension field - Pause 1/2 Second H Hang Up

I think you may need to append Ron's dial string as such because I noticed your string had # after the extension...
Dial string should be something like this #8,7601%E-#-H (notice the # between pauses) for light on
Dial string should be something like this #8,7600%E-#-H (again the # added) for light off

ron, thanks for getting back so quickly. p2ii, thanks for the clarificaiton--I missed it myself.
I've been trying these codes this morning by creating an event in the Notify tab like ron described. I'm not having too much luck just yet. I think it was the phone I was using more than what I was trying.
I'll get back with an update on it hopefully later today.

Do it from an analog port set as VM. That way you won't be chasing problems through the MAS. If it works from the analog port, it should work from the MAS.

hallelujah! it works!
I ended up creating a template that used "TokenNotify" and the following variable (in the template): 76-#8-7601%E# (76 is the Node ID of the system with the StarCall on it).
I applied this template to the mailbox, and bingo it worked. I created another template with the same string, but changed the "7601" part to "7600".
For the first couple hours I kept trying all kinds of iterations with the H in it at the end to hang up. That caused something strange to happen and the code never went through properly. I could still here the analog card "click" to pickup the line and pause for a second or two before it "click"'d off. After we tried without the H in it, it just worked.
Thanks again for all the help guys! This saved me calling two different vendors in at the same time (one is two hours away) and paying a buttload in support hours!
