I have 2 CIX 40's connected using IP QSIG , site A wants there calls to ring on a delay to site B . I have tried adding the Extensions at site B that they want to ring on a delay to the MCG at site A , and it will only let me add 1 EXT. and it never rings.I tried adding Site B's MCG to ring on a delay in site A's MCG , NO RING.I can DIT the lines from site A to site B using siteB's MCG. Any ideas ?????

Are your network DN tables up to date?

When you add the 1 ext, does it actually ring that ext? For some reason I don't think it works to add PDN's from a remote node to a local MCG. I wanna say I ran into this before but can't recall the actual scenario and what the fix was. You could try creating a pilot DN that is directed to the remote node MCG and add that to the local MCG on the delay  Or how about creating a PhDN and forward that to the remote MCG, add the PhDN to the local MCG on the delay.

Im just guessing here, not sure if either of these scenarios will work.

Edit: Disregard my first sentence, I just re-read the original post and that was already answered.

Had same situation had to use PHDN and foward it to DN or PHDN on remote node... mcgs will not ring a phantom across nodes..

just another reason to dislike mcgs

As far as I have heard, there is no way to have a call ring on multiple sites at the same time through QSig, no matter what you put in the MCG.

I have run into it and read many message comments about it, and I have not heard of a solution. A while back someone claimed to have a work-around but never posted it.

Forwarding the call across a QSig will work. You just can't ring 2 phones at 2 sites at the same time.

And MCG will only ring the owner of a phantom, even at the same node.

I broke down and called tech support , there is no way to have a call ring on multiple sites at the same time through QSIG , I thnk I am going to have the calls ring a MCG on site A ,then setup a system call forward for that MCG (BNA) to site B's MCG.Anyone see why this wouldn't work ??

I replied to your pm but thought you just wanted to forward calls not ring simultaneously. The only way to have calls ring at the same time over qsig is using mas with the vm application and the simultaneous ring feature flex package.
