I just installed an amds on my customers 670 and need to set up emanager to dial up remotely and when i select use dial up on the select customer screen i keep getting an error "system could not find the phone book entry for this connection" any help would be much appreciated. i dont have my cd with the install manual so i need some help. thanx in advance .

from FYI article 1865 :
"Verify the dial-up connection (RemoteCTX1) is created and named correctly.

If the dial-up connection, RemoteCTX1, is created under Network and Dial-Up Connections and you continue to get this error, delete and recreate."

I've also had to uninstall - re-install eMnager in the early versions to rid that.

What version are you using?

im using 5.1. your remedy cleared my problem thanx so much for your help. do you know if theres a way to get transfered into the amds or do you have to have a line directly answered by the amds? again thanx for any info.

the AMDS answers on x-#19 (yes, the # is part of the number)

Another way is to set up a mailbox to Blind transfer to #19H. Then call the auto attnd and dial MB number.
