On the same phone system as my other battery post, dial restricted comes up as I try to dial out. Sometimes it can dial out sometimes it comes up with the dial restricted. Now I have a bunch of people coming to me saying they cant dial out that its restricted and 2 people were on calls and got cut off. HELP :bang:

It is now also cuts people off in the middle of there calls. It seems to be affecting ports differently.

I'm not a Toshiba person but I would make sure cards are properly seated and try a reboot

Try narrowing it down to particular phones. The 2000 series digital phones are known for hookswitch problems which will disconnect callers mid sentence. An ohm meter across the hookswitch should read less than 500 ohms, any thing above this is suspect and should be replaced.

Having read both posts, I have got to believe that they are linked.
I have got to believe that you have a power supply problem.
Can you narrow this down to one or two of the three cabinets?
It sounds like you may have an internmittent short or failing power supply somewhere that is causing power problems. The power fluctuations then are causing calls to drop off when it goes out for a second. Power fluctuations can cause all kinds of screwy problems with your programming and can kill your CPU.
Last, have you recently added any extra devices to the system? Especially S/L cards/devices? Have you checked your maximum power consumption tables to make sure you have enough power to run them all?

Thanks, I havent added anything to the cabinets in quite some time. And no I havent checked the tables yet, I will do that. Ill try replacing the other power supplies and hope that happens. Thanks again!

Can you dial out at the same time of the day or get dial restricted at the same time of day? Could it be those phones have a different COS in day 1, day 2, or night?

You need to do some detective work here. The extension numbers don't matter but the port numbers do. Do you have display phones at all these phones that are having problems?

If yes, at each phone with problems [Do not lift the handset] Press the [Intercom] button and dial # 4 0 2. Write down the three digit port number.
Keep a record of what the display says when they can't dial if this is still happening.

After a day or so of recording problem extensions, see if they are all on one circuit card or as Paul says, all ports in one cabinet. Do this before you go changing out all the power supplies, you will never know which one is good or bad IF they are the problem.
