I have added an analog extension and I would like it to ring on incoming calls whenever another (digital extension) rings. The analog extension is 310 and the digital extension is 208. However 208 also rings when extensions 230 or 231 are chosen. Both 230 and 231 are actually choosen by voicemail and ring at several extensions. I have PCP SB7.01 and this is running on a Telrad 128 system. I have access to the PCP program and the system but I don't know which settings need to be changed to accomplish my goal. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Look in your hunt groups to see if they are all in a group then add 310 to it , or they may also be in a Ring List group that you need to add 310 to. Hard for me to say without looking at your program.

If you could explain exactly how a user would call in and select them it would help us know how they are set up.

I think what dtmf is asking is: Can you tell us how you want the incoming call to route?

No, I'm asking how do the callers dial in now so I can see where to add the 310, to a hunt group, ring List or what.

Let's start with the 208 extension. To ring it the caller either presses 1 then 208 or uses the dial by name directory. The other two extensions are key presses in voicemail "Press 4 for sales" (230) or "Press 5 for Service" (231), when choosen they ring several extensions. Please give me step by step from the Programming screens Menu as I am not very familiar with this program.

You will need to look into your voice mail and see what hunt-group 4 goes to, and see what hunt-group 5 goes to also and add 310 to them, as far as dialing 1 then 208 it goes to 208 only and won't ring both because that is a voice mail direct trans to an extension, about all you can do with it is give it Call Forward Busy to 310 from 208
Hope this helps

I went into Imagen (version 5.00D) and I can see where the single digit is defined to be 230 or 231 but I can't find where these extensions are then routed to the actual phone extensions (i.e. 208,207,213,etc).
