I am tring to hook up MOH to the Onyx Vs. I am gathering alot of static and interfr. I gounded all three cabinets and moved the radio, try to cut down on EMI. Is there an OHM or value input required on these units? I checked the manual and i could use some help.

What are you using for a MOH source?

Generally speaking MOH is 600 OHM. Balanced.

That's definately an impedance mismatch. (8ohm instead of 600ohm) You want to use the headphone jack. Using the speaker terminal you stand a good chance of frying something.
Welcome to the board Bob. If you're going to stick around you'll want to add some details to your profile.

Thanks Clinton. I would like to stick around. I will produce a 600ohm balanced signal and see where that takes me.
Thanks to everyone for the assistance.

I have line 4 port open and MOH is enabled along with Background Music. The music is very low and i have the volume up all the way. the music source is a headphone jack on a portable cd player. i know the quallity on this old system isnt great but this sounds real bad. i am out of ideas. Anybody?

Ive got 3 that I can think off that have MOH and no problems .
we use the OHP5000 , have you tried another music source ?
a diffrent cable ?
does the music go on the second cabinet ? Its been quite awhile since I worked with multicabs on this system but my (often faulty ) memory is thinking maybe MOH hooked into the second cabinet ?
cant hurt to try ?
