I can't seem to get the phones to register over the VPN. They worked great at the office over the LAN.

Should I manually add the IP of the phone to have an address for the other side?

No you should have the IP address of local site and manually add the pbx address


Make sure the gateway is set on the system

Got it. It does not like it when a phone was a previous extension number. Even after de-registration. I re-registered it as it original extesnion

Got It- gateway settings on the NT phones must match gateway and network settings for the site where they are located.
