Hi there,
We have purchased and installed Allworx 10 pbx and use Grandstream 2000 phones in our office.
The external caller-id's do not show, although id of the calling extension (internal) shows up on the display.
Of course, mixed vendor environment, they both point to each other and you get no help :-)

Does anyone have experience with this kind of a situation, or has suggestions?
Thanks,
Derya

What about the phone company actually providing caller ID?

Someone has to test to verify caller ID is being received from the carrier. Coral Tech called it right. That's the first step. If it's being received then we go to programming. smile

Good call - we always thought that the caller-id was being provided.. however now looking at the logs of the PBX, I do not see any. Will check with our SA to see if he had seen any record of that - of course, I can test by plugging a caller-id phone directly to the incoming line and check it. - Will get back with the answer - Thanks!
