Sigh. My unlucky day. I'm on a customer site and the box is a ver 1.7. I can't seem to find anything but 2.0 MMC commands.
Anyone have an electronic copy they can send to me please?
TIA
Carl

You might have more commands but they would be essentially the same software.

Thanks. Yep, after the dust settled and I looked for something less than the combined 2.0 manual, I found that it's just a matter of stepping through the MMC's and not panicing over the missing ones :-)
The most annoying part was the convoluted way you have to set up intercom calls between stations...I never remembered that in the 50 or the 500, probably because it doesn't exits. It turned out that the customer doesn't use it anyway, they just hold and page. My problem was that I could TRANSFER a call to a phone, but not call it....how stupid is that? There are FAUTO instructions that require dialing the phone and then pressing another button....yeah, I'll get right on that.
I need to call my Samsung guy and find out if there's a battery backing the RAM up or what may have caused the system to dump the memory.
The funny part was after I got the system completely programmed and buttons mapped, THEN I found the cheat sheet. Oh well, I didn't charge the customer for training...ME.

They Compact has a NiCad battery on the Ram pack from memory.
Like any battery they die of old age. You should be able to find one and re-solder it. Or put a ups on, or try to sell them a newer better system
