When changing the IP in the mmc you were talking about. You should use all 3 numerals (eg:010.012.013.014) and once you change it you need to reset the system. Oh and do it through the keyset not the OSM. IT tool does not work on the 100

A cross-over cable is required if you're connecting the laptop directly. It's not connected to a network so it doesn't really matter what the IP address is. Make sure you match the gateway and net mask values on your laptop, and assign your laptop an IP address that is compatible with the net mask value.
For example: IP=011.022.033.044, gateway=011.022.033.001, net mask=255.255.255.000 on the system. Set the laptop values to IP=011.022.033.045, gateway=011.022.033.001, net mask=255.255.255.000 and you should be able to access the system. The programming manual has the default values.

Why don't you go to the Samsung GSBN website, they have detailed instructions for what you are trying to do. :thumb:

It's a little confusing, they put the proceedure PDF with software version 2.75b but not with version 2.76b.
You can download just the proceedure from the 2.75b software update.

The upgrade procedure isn't exactly intuitive. If you've never done it before you may need some help.
My recollection is that the .zpg file is in the .zip archive and the upgrade procedure is in there as well. I assume you've extracted the .zip file? Don't have the laptop nearby or I'd know exactly.

You are not going to compress anything. Just unzip the download. You have to remove the old files before you can load the new ones, because the file name is the same on two of them. DO NOT let the system go down with no files on the MCP card.
