I accidently shorted 2 wires togeather when changing a jack. Now the jack doesn't work, no power. What can I do to fix this error? Thanks,DR Dave

The port probably is not bad, try reversing the secong pair to the phone.

Usually a reset will fix that problem, power down and leave it powered down for at least 20 minuets. But you already got it fixed, just some food for thought.
