System is a MICS early version Config,System Admin. I have added a set to night ringing for a particular line this line also appears on the main set (221) where gen del m/b is . In day mode call goes to m/b of set eg 234 if it isn't answered , switch to night mode the first 4 rings flash on the set then get aprox 2 rings and caller goes into gen del m/b not the m/b of set, main set is set to c/f after 6 rings extension c/f after 3 rings have made the line prime to ext also other sets in the system work fine in night modes for there lines. In day mode all lines appear only on sets except for 221 where they A&R

So call actually rings 6 times before going to the GDM, you just only hear the last 2? And you have the line primed to the set. What is the DRT setting - 4 I'll bet?

You could be correct, But I have several other phones in the system set to do night ring on their particular line and no problem , I will confirm today I see where you are going , 4 silent rings then the 3 for my local makes 7.. why the silent rings ?

Verify the ext number is correct and in the right ring group. Verify the line is controlled by the set that is turning on night service.

The ext number is correct , but in this version of software there are no ring groups .. by line controlled set do you mean line primed to eg 221 and not to the extension i want to have the night ringing on ? would changing DTR to 3 be a fix , I just didn't want to mess up the other working stations

In ringing service... you tell which set controls controls the ringing service of a line. That set must be the one to invoke the service (F871). By default all lines are controlled by 221, but this may have been changed at some point or you activating night service by something other than 221.

Night service is activated at loc 221 , I have gone into services , then to nights, show, show line 072, ringing sets show, add set 243, and even tried removing 221 for one of the night ringing sets, still get same thing , I have checked a few of the other sets (different line) no problem

Maybe explain what it is you are trying to do. i.e what ext you want to ring at night, where you want the call to end up at night after the phone rang.
You said you added one set to night group, was there other in the group alread. Then again you said for a particular line, in this case did you setup a seprate ring group with a seprate control set?
