I swapped out the processor and SD card. When system came up in default the caller ID passed through, when I loaded the customer Database, caller ID stopped working. Activity screen does not show CID when call hits auto attendant. So i'm thinking it's a corrupt database. Should I reprogram from scratch?
Check the trunk ports programming, then the station display programming before you start all over.
Thanks, MMC 119,312,414 all set correctly. I'm thinking I'll program the phone system side first, see if that works, then upload the voicemail.
PSTN or PRI?
Does the CID appear on the handsets and/or in the SMDR?
Regular lines connected to a 4TRM card. Not sure about the SMDR but CID is not appearing on the activity log. The display on handsets shoe "no cid received"
Do you have a BUTT set or a cordless which displays CID you can connect to the lines to prove that carrier is sending CID?
I brought a BUTT set with a display just for this issue, came in handy a couple of times to prove to the customer that it was the carrier who was wrong, and not a fault with the pabx.
Have you told system it needs cli for lines in mmc 425
mmc 425 in North America isn't used
Thanks Pvj we have to set 425 to make cli work on lines in uk
Must be a different mmc in states
Nameless, I do receive CID on the trunks before the system.
Then you must have a bad database if it works in default you've proved the hardware to be good.
I'll let you know tomorrow. Going out to manually program.
I defaulted the system and programmed manually. CID is now working. Go figure.
