Help! Phone didn't change for DLS and I can't figure out how to do it manually! Please help me
Here is all the info I have on this phone. (my tech challenged boss threw everything else away)
It is a NEC Dterm 80
Model #DTH-16D-2(BK)TEL
s/n 24606941A
MFD Dec/2004
Stock#780575
Never mind I figured it out myself. Here it is in case anyone else is having trouble.
Feature 9# enter time and change between AM and PM with 00.
Wait! Could you explain that again? I am new to this phone system and need directions from "pick up phone."
Thanks
Oh--I now figured it out myself. Thanks for the tip!
I got tasked with switching the time, but when I pressed FEATURE 9 # it said error... what did I do wrong and how do I do it right?
Thanks!
mine says error too when i press feature 9#. It is the NEC Dterm 80. Im wondering if I should pick up the receiver first, or what?
nevermind, to get rid of the error.... just go to every other phone in the office until you get to the admin phone... its like a treasure hunt, but once you press feauture, 9, # , from the admin phone, they all change!
voila! Eureka!
Alright Thanks! Although it would figure that someone would be using the phone I need to change it on for a conference call... >_<
How do you change the ringer style on this phone?
I think I've tried this on every set in my office. Do you, in fact, pick up the receiver first? I think I've tried every combination. Don't know what the issue is. BTW, has NEC gotten out of the phone business? I cant' find any support on their website for these issues.
No they are still in the phone business but usually expect the customer to go to their supplier or maintenance provider of the system for this sort of info..
retreat & soniak>>actually you're looking for port 1 or 2 (by default exts 100 & 101 and i'm guessing you have an elite series type phone system judging by the phone model).
maj_havoc>>no just go to the above phones & do a feature 9# (enter new time) then feature
tbica>>you don't
If they have the IPK II the feature 9# is not going to work.
Speaker 728, enter hour in 24 hour format and than minutes.
Date has to be done in system programming.
