I have a couple of AVAYA phones, a 9611 and a 1608 that boot up to a screen showing " wrong set type" tried several different functions to try and clear, does anyone have any insight on this that can help me?

Hi - Can you tell us what phone system you are using that the 9611 and 1608 phones are connected to?

Check your extensions. If you have an IP phone trying to login as an extension that is already assigned to an analog or digital station, you will get wrong set type.
