my customer has a partner carrier and wants to upgrade to an office ip but keep his partner phones. i dont have any experiance with office ip. i hear programing is done with laptop and you need to be a dealer to get the software. can i program the system with a partner phone and use partner codes if we have partner combo cards in the ksu. the only programs they have is ringing, buttons, privacy, and time and date. thanks dave

You can reuse the Partner phones if you use ETR cards and program it as Basic-Partner mode. BUT WHY? It makes for a crappy emulation of what they've already got. Buy the license and put it in Standard Essential mode, sell them new 1416 phones or 9508 phones, and make it a real phone system.

I've done several IP Office Partner edition.
I don't think they have a Partner release anymore. Now it's basic.

Regret doing them, would not do one again. Services no purpose.

Do what Tommy said.

Also, the current release is R10. The ETR card is NOT supported with R10.

So there is no roadmap for those sets, they are done on IPO moving forward.

Yes. Not any glaring issues. It is a pain though, to migrate from ADI to PLDS licensing, i am not going to lie.

But, it needed to be done.

I *LOVE* PLDS licences compared to ADI. It's a beautiful thing not to be tied to a specific SD card (or to worry about when the first call was placed on a IP500v2 chassis)

Web manager in R10 pretty much does what you need it to do as well. Other than some bugs in server edition I'd say it's pretty much a win. Now if only we could get compatibility with the Vantage phone smile
