Hello All,
I need to change the time on my MTX but the Function #0 then it says password then i put my password it says "db failure"
I did it last year and i did not change the password , someone help
Or is there a way to change the time via rmp software , i just need to know how and how do i reset the password so that it does not say db failure

Yes, you can do it in RMP. At the main screen before entering RMP use: ALT, T and follow the instructions.

I tried that but what about my db failure problem when trying function #0 ?

I tried the system alt t and it only shows what to change when i am done , there is no option to save the oly option available is to press esc
I cant reboot the system because most people are on the phone line system it it school

I just reboot the system and tried function #0 and press 1 for tenant group and it stays DB PROTECTION

No not at all just the display phones right now it shows Mar14 MON 10:11 NAME D-1 338
I went to rmp and cancel db protection and when i go to function 0# then it says tenant group i press 1 then f2 to save and it says password then i put the password from last year "0000" then f2 then it says "DB SETUP FAILURE"
What are my options, someone help

I remember running into DB PROTECTION... Hum. Was your PC connected to the system when you tried to Function # 0 will not work if the PC is connected.

When you are sending TIME through a laptop you have to Send ITEM/SYSTEM APPLICATIONS/SYSTEM TIME
If you send part or send all, then time is not included. I would assume that this is due to the fact that a laptop time might not be based in reality, so by sending ITEM then TIME from your computer it's an intentional.
Regarding DB Failure, he decided not to worry about trying to do a COLD-START at this time.
