No work around using the USB. If you notice it will start receiving then give you a messaage that it fails. The modem however will work. Also I noticed if you send and receive by item it seems to help

I have had no trouble running RMP from with in Windows XP, specifically, but I have found that some of the newer systems, ie motherboards, that XP is installed on do have all sorts of problems connecting. I believe this to be a matter of hardware though.

The system I am using right now is an AMD/ASUS PC with XP and SP2 and it runs RMP and is currently connected to a Protege MTX with F20 firmware.
