That is a Meridian Option 11. The only thing they have in common is they provide dialtone. Not even close.

The Option 11 is a very reliable system, and there are a lot of them out there...I guess they aren't made any more, but I would say they are going to be around a while yet, so probably worth the time it takes to learn them...

The NT documentation for this system, however, is probably ten to twelve thousand pages, so not for the faint of heart. Manuals are available widely on the internet...

Thanks for the help. So do you think I should recommend the system to be changed to a Mitel?. 40 room hotel with restaurant.

Well, if you are asking my specific opinion, that would be "No"...

I have worked with Mitel somewhat in the past, and have not been fond of it. In addition, I find the M2250 operator console much more intuitive than any Mitel console I've worked with. Actually, at one time Mitel was very popular in hospitality, and I've always wondered why.

I just tossed a Mitel out of a small "botique" hotel and replaced with a Nortel MICS & CallPilot. They love it.
