I've got a BCM50 with a PRI, and they want to record calls to the customer service group. Supervisor doesn't want reps to have control over this, so I need some way to record these phones on a PC. I have 5 sets that need to be recorded. Line side recorders won't work with a PRI.

Call Parrot/Engage by Telstrat is what we are using for our Traders in Calgary.... It operates on a server and connect to the BCM via an integration box. https://www.telstrat.com/content/view/276/310/

We also use Algo. It records on an extension basis. Works very well for us over the past 5 years.

Thank you fellows, I'm waiting for a call back from Telstrat, and spoke with and got a quote from Algo. I like the Telstrat diagram, it works with far less equipment than does the Algo. All I need is the CTE keycode and it's all done over the BCM LAN.

We're going with Algo, because they called me back. The folks at Telstrat sent me to voice mail, and never responded to my emails yesterday. Fast Service is very important to me. Not sure how a company can survive that way.

Sorry for the thread hi-jack, but I have a similar situation. Except...I only need to monitor calls. Recording not necessary (and no, the SW Monitor feature does not work).

You are right Russell, you need to contact a sales rep, once you have there name and number you are set, but the first time we contacted them...it was not great. If you need I could probably give you our rep, he is pretty good.... just a thought

Thank you Nickels, this customer is going to use the pro call recorder built into r5. BCR beta program til sept 1 when they will buy the GA of this Nortel approved third party vendor product. Or at least today thats what they want. time will tell.

Ok, this morning I recieved an email from the BCR vendor telling me that project has been cancelled and they won't be proceeding with the third party software solution. Looks like Avaya's take over of Nortel is kicking in. Yikes!!!!!!!!
