System is a CICS w/CP100. 4 lines. 3 lines in hunt/roll group, 1 line stand-alone. Client wishes the stand-alone line to be a "back-line" for calling in to the office after hours. They do not want the AA or MB to answer this line. I have the AA set-up to answer after 4 rings during the day and, utilizing "Schedules", AA picks up on "0" rings at night for lines 001 ~ 003. I have the AA answer set to "No" for the back-line (004). All other lines are set to 4 rings.
However...regardless of the time, the back-line picks up after four rings and is answered by the GD mailbox. I have changed the line to "Appear Only" on all sets that have voicemail (including GD set). The line only rings on sets that don't have a mailbox. Those phones have "none" under the CFNA -> setting.
I have also "cleared" the Prime Set DN for this line.
What's interesting is...when I change the Prime Set DN, the line is answered by the new "Prime Set".
I'm obviously missing something, but can't figure out what it is.
P.S. - What would happen if you wanted a "back-line" on all ringing phones? You couldn't do it as the line would be answered after 4 rings due to CFNA...

I can't answer your first question. It seems you have all the bases covered. I would go through every DN again. Even the ones without phones.
Part 2: This line would have to be put in a hunt group.

Danny, take a look if that MSG goes to GM. Maybe its external VM that comes from provider. Another possibilities is that line in Ring Group 01 by default and VM DN is an answering point, so take that line out off RG 1 to RG 2 and make sure there is no Ext. assign for it.

I just had a thought. I have the "back line" as appear/ring on the ATA (cordless phone). However, there is not mailbox assigned to that extension (237) nor is CFNA activated.
Does the ATA port follow a different drummer?

ATA acts same as a digital port.
Vad has a good point, does the customer have an external voice mail they forgot to discontinue?
