I was wondering if anyone had a tested combination for this problem. With any other devices that uses RS-232 I am able to use a ethernet to DB-9 serial adapter, assign an IP address to the adapter, and use a logical COM port redirector (a software program that runs in the background and converts a logical COM port number to an IP address). Then you can spawn Norstar Utilities and use that COM port to do a direct connect. Every other program I have had no problems, but have been unsuccessful with Norstar Utilities. Has anyone tried this?

Good Luck with that!!! I would be shocked if you could get that to work with NRU. Let us know if you make any progress.
