I have a transtalk 9040 on an ACS R7.0 that won't stay registered to the DRM. The control light on the DRM does not alweays stay lit. Is there a program function on the ACS for the DRM? or does anybody have any suggestions

The Transtalk has nothing to do with the system it operates off of other than it is just another phone. If you are having registration problems between the handset and radio unit one or the other is defective. Replace it.

And replace it often you will. That seems to be a common issue with the 9040.

You can try to press reset button on Radio module that represent that port and then try to reregister. The only problems I had with registration if somebody disconnect cordless Ext. and then try to connected back without Unregister and then Reregister again. But I never was successfull withot reseting Radio Module first.

The TransTalks are not a perfect science to began with. Maybe that's why they where discontinued.
