Hello All,

Been looking through past posts for two days and see nothing that resembles my problem. We have a AVAYA PARTNER ACS, W/ PARTNER MESSAGING R1.0. We have 11 inbound lines that are part of one company and 1 line on 14 that is part of another company. The auto attendant pickups for the first 11 lines and routes calls automatically by which button is pushed. Every thing works great on the system and we can route(#301) line 14 to one extension and to one button with (#209)differental ring. The problem is if line 14 is not answered the auto attendant from the first company picks up that line. We have checked(#204) and see the line is unassigned on ASA lines. Not sure what else to check?? Does anyone else have any input or suggestions.

Yes, and you could have line 14 have it's own AA with it's on greeting. (just a thought)

When logged into the System Administrator's mailbox, go to A.A.-2, and listen for the line assignment option. Assign line 14 there, and A.A.-1 will stop answering it.

The problem is if line 14 is not answered the auto attendant from the first company picks up that line.

I think he just wants to stop the AA from picking up the line.

Just unassign it from #206, group 7 (option 2). You could also remove it from AA #1, line assignments.

Thanks for the help guys I will try all your suggestions today. And thanks for the though on having a different AA answer that line, that may work even better than having it just ring.

Thanks again All.
