I am driving an Avaya G3siV11 and need some additonal space. So I am changing my TN746's to TN793's.
I have changed out all the ports to "X" and tried to do a "Ch Cir 1" and at the right place replaced TN746 with a TN793, but it keeps telling me I must remove translations. What am I missing?
Thanks

Something is still assigned on your 746...Do a "list config bo xxxx" and see if anything shows on it...Also turn off TTI while your doing your conversion as this can mess you up also...then you can turn it back on after your done....

Good Luck

How do I turn off TTI, and by the way what is TTI?

All is better now, you have to put the new board in and wait a bit for the system so shake it's hand, then change the TN746" to "TN793".
Thanks for your help.

Glad you got your problem resolved..."patience is a virture" I guess in this case !! TTI is a feature that allows for end-users to move stations by entering a seperation code before unplugging a station and a merge code when plugging it back in to another port in the system...pretty much a pain. It can cause some problems when trying to replace boards sometimes.

Anyway welcome to the board...:-)
