Am I the only one that thinks these phone are butt ugly? And come on an "optional" wall mount kit? Can't wait for all the complaints about pushing the wrong buttons with the 24 key layout alternating sides with labeling.

Yea I like the DT34x much better. You're right, the buttons might be an issue. What I really hate is that Panasonic hasn't changed much about the phones except for looks. Still has a Pause button? Why not change that to something useful like a built in call log key? They're too wide also, take up too much real estate on a desk. The new DSS consoles are only 48-keys now too. I'm sure we'll all be used to them in a year or so.

I modified my 3XX label template to fit on the new phones and still give me side by side labels, not much room for text that way though since the window is not as wide.

Also look at where they placed the damn intercom button /boggle.

Tried to get the DT3XX for this customer but was told out of stock and it would take longer than customer was willing to wait for their new system, so I had to get the 5XX. 3 wall phones in this install and guess what no wall phone kits until mid December from Graybar or Jenne. Going to have to pay triple price on the interwebs to get some in time.

There is a template for all the phone 77xx,76xx,3xx,5xx keys on the programming tool that will pull the names from the extension list for dss and print as many as it can on 1 a4 sheet

Yes I am aware of that but it doesn't help the customer to make new labels if they change a button on their phone or wish to colorize button labels for departments.

EXCEL saves the day on the 76XX, DT3XX, and DT5XX. I get six labels per sheet and give the excel file to my customers.. I hate labels that are incorrect and I hate white out even more!!
If your an installer that doesn't work with Excel, you can send me a message and I'll see if I can figure out how to email you the file.

You can give them the tool locked down to admin user
They can change speed dial and buttons. Extension names and print labels

The new ns 700 offline tool has a button programming tool you can use

Yes I agree the telephones are butt ugly. Now I have to stock wall mount brackets for the two styles of telephones. The 5XX telephones are not backwards compatible, so the software has to be upgraded, what a pain. The back rest is very difficult to adjust up and down. They look and fell cheap.

Excel File is sent to the printer on standard paper. Fonts, colors, lines for rows and columns, print and cut. six labels per 8.5 x 11 sheet.

Yes I have an excel file that I modified for the new phones. And leave a copy on the admins computer so they can make changes to them.

I am so glad you can just cut them out and not have to buy them from Desi anymore.
