I have a Nortel Option 11c switch. Anyways, I use MCR keys instead of SCR keys and I am trrying to put an extension that will ring 4 phones. The problem I am encountering is that 2 phones ring when I dial the extension I set up as an MCR key but the other phone dies not. THe type of phones I am using M3904. IS there a reason why a third would not ring? The other question is can I make an analog ring under this new extension I am creating considering it can be added as an MCR?

Please help

If you want to have the lines set up so that each phone could be able to access the line once it is answered or even have an analog line connected with this. Make the primary set programmed with an SCR of your extension on key 0, change your LHK to however many lines you want. Then if you want 3 appearances of that line, make the LHK 2, program lines 1 and 2 with SCR non DID lines like 2000, 3000, or what ever is spare. Just be aware that your marp set controlls the hunt, fdn, and lhk. Then just add all the SCR lines to the other sets you want. key 0 SCR main #, key 1 scr 2000, key 2 scr 2002 and change the LHK(last hunt key)to 2.

I guess basically what I want to do is set up an extension that will ring all the system administrators. I thought that by adding an mcr key with an extension it would fix this issue, but that only worked with two phones, and not the third. THat also did not work with anaolog phones. DO you have any suggestions to create an extension that will ring all the admistrators digital and and analog phone with one extension?
Please help

Thank you

How do you do this with an analog phone?

Also if an admin has extension 500 under MCR, how do you add an SCR key? I do not think you can have an MCR key an a SCR key at the same time?

I have a telrad phone system in another office and this issue is fixed with MDN (Multiple DN0 I create an MDN and put all the extensions I want to ring under this. IS there anything like this on the Option 11C?

Chg your MCR keys to SCR keys then make a 500 mix for the analog set.

I was able to make it work with MCR keys after all, and I am not sure why you suggested to change to SCR. However, what I am still trying to find out is if there is any way you can make an analog phone ring under the extension that was added for all the other digital phones. For example, ext 100, 101, and 102 are digital phones and I added an additional MCR key of 200. Whenver I dial 200 the phones that have ext 100, 101, and 102 ring. I would also like to make the extension 110 (analog phone ring when I dial 200. Is there anyway to do this without getting rid of extension 110. I want extension 110 to ring when i dial 200 on my analog phone. The digital part is fixed. The problem I had with the digital phone was LPK was set to 0 and i changed it to 3.

Please help

I am not sure why you keep posting a question that I feel we have answered for you. Remove all MCR's of that line. Create your analog line as you would normally and then add that line to the sets you want with an SCR.

I understand what you are saying but that is not what I am trying to do. I am trying to keep the existing extension on the analog line, and I do not want to add that extension on the digital phones. The analogo extension receives personal calls or calls for that person who posseses that extension. That is why I do not want to add that extension on the digital phones. I created an extension so that when it is a call for tech support for the administrators of my company it rings all the techs extensions. THat is where my wuestion still remains, can I keep the same extension on an analog phone AND create a new extension that will ring the analog phone?
