yeah, tehre is something to be said about the CL. much more efficient in a lot of ways than the web gui.
We were just mislead on the the VM access.

Also note only 4 port vm......

Anyone get a non-tadiran SIP phone working on it?

I've signed an X-Lite softphone into one.

Was working with a Polycom phone and despite me putting in the proper stuff via the web, wireshark showed it trying to use a different user name. Fixed in the config file, works like a charm.
Now to compare the config files that Tadiran provides for their "Polycom" and see how to make softkeys and DSS keys work

Why bother? You have to buy a separate license for phones not purchased from Tadiran.

Same phone but twice the license if the phone isn't through them.

I was "just to see". Wanted to see if there were any gotchas.
I haven't priced the licenses vs cost of phones.
I suppose the double license would apply if I wanted to do some sort of SIP paging. Probably just do it the old fashion way and tap into speaker leads

LOL...boy I remember those days! Ya, we were lucky to get a hands on demo of the UCX. Great potential but Tadiran needs to think about their price schemes.
